Overview

Palamatic’s Rotaslit machine has become a standard over the past 20 years for medium to high throughput sack opening installations worldwide.  Reliable, efficient, compact, the Rotaslit range can be produced to an Atex standard and supplied in 304/316 stainless steel as well as other finishes. With throughput of sacks from 5-15 per minute this range is highly versatile.

The machine is designed around a unique combination of a screw auger and tumble-drum principle that ensures sacks are fully emptied. The Rotaslit is ideal where space is of a premium as the high emptying efficiency is achieved in a very compact body, which also incorporates the minimum of product hang-up points ensuring easy clean-down between batches via the interlocked access doors. The Rotaslit can be manually fed via a short-length gravity roller conveyor or via an appropriate belt conveyor system. The Rotaslit-Standard version utilises a single or double-shaft cutting system ensuring a clean slitting of the sack irrespective of sack size, shape or orientation. The slit sack and product being fed into the screw auger and tumble-drum section for discharge of product.
