Introduction

Palamatic has always been committed to providing clients with first rate customer service. Our dedicated service department was established to provide customers with after sales service and support throughout the lifespan of their handling equipment. And many years on they are still travelling the World helping to maintain client equipment investments, provide training, to advise on the latest product updates or to offer equipment refurbishment to meet the clients needs.      

 

Site Service Visits

Lifting equipment regulations stipulate that regular service must be carried out on all types of materials handling equipment. This helps to keep the equipment running efficiently, ensures operator safety and provides improved payback by extending the products lifespan. Place your call with our help desk (giving the systems reference number whenever possible) and a service engineer will be allocated to the job. Spare Parts

All standard, stock components (such as vacuum tube lifter filters for example) are despatched within 3 - 5 days of your order. We do aim however to despatch orders for stocked parts placed before 12pm on the same day with no handling surcharge - as long as you provide a current part identification number and equipment installation reference (to help us expedite the PO efficiently).

Some custom design parts may be subject to availability. These items will be pointed out during the original project and we would recommend long-lead spares are ordered with the system itself.

System Upgrades/Modifications and System Relocation

As equipment manufacturers, Palamatic offers a full engineering design service. Our Service Engineers will carry out site surveys, while the in-house technical sales/engineering team provide layout drawings and written quotations to meet your requirements.

Installation, Operator Training and Commissioning

To get the best out of your lifting equipment, it's important that key staff are familiar with the operation and general functionality. This can range from the simple finger tip controls of our vacuum lifter to the pneumatic control circuit diagnostics required for a manipulator service.
 
We can offer a written proposal based on the number of operators to be trained (we can accommodate personnel shift change times on request) and the level of training required i.e. lifting equipment operation training or basic materials handling maintenance training.
 
Note: Personalised Training Certificates are issued to named staff on completion of training.

A tailored commissioning visit proposal can also be produced (if not offered as part of the original contract) based on a set of specific terms and conditions. Palamatic service engineers regularly travel the World, keeping our valued overseas clients equipment in full working order. Contact the Customer Services office stating the serial number of the equipment. In most cases seven days notice is needed to arrange a commissioning visit.

Even if the lifting equipment was not installed by Palamatic, our team we will be happy to quote for a commissioning visit, safety inspection, crane inspection or full material handling service contract. Just make a request and we'll take care of your lifting equipment service needs.
