History
1985
Palamatic started out from a home-based office utilizing local sub-contractors to manufacture for almost two years until expansion of business initiated the first move to a local Trading Estate. Eventually four factory units and offices rented from the area County Council encompassed the various departments of the business.
1992
In November 1992 Palamatic purchased its own premises incorporating factory facilities of around 12,000 sq. feet, 3,500 sq. feet of Test House facility and 8000 sq feet of offices.
1995
In July 1995 to celebrate Palamatic's tenth year in business the new Test House area was officially opened.
The After-Care Department was established as a division in September 1995 bringing together all services required by the customer such as Spare Parts, Service, System Upgrades, Installation, Commissioning, Training and Advice.
2005
At the start of 2005 Palamatic Handling Systems Ltd has two main industry focused divisions. The Pharmaceutical product line is handled by a separate business group - PalPharma Handling Solutions - which also deals with Fine Chemical and Healthcare projects. The Test Plant facility becomes a dedicated Pharmaceutical product manufacturing and assembly facility to cope with increased demand.
2007
In August 2007 Palamatic established it's subsidiary in Garner, North Carolina. This sales and support office holds stock for the vacuum tube lifter range and recently set up a showroom facility for both materials handling and PalPharma handling solutions. Visitors are invited to send bring sample product into the facility to test out which lifting / handling aid is the most suitable.
