The PalPharMassage is used to break down hard, caked or even sticky powders prior to discharge into the reactor. This is important where particle size entry into solution is a consideration or where the powder will not discharge at all so the operator has to physically beat the drum which contravenes manual handling regulations and is an accident in waiting. The discharge of the reactor usually demands a higher GMP requirement and often a cantilever reach is required to get fully under the reactor.
